Taylor Hess

Taylor Hess has a proven track record of developing and overseeing successful fiction and non-fiction projects. Notable producing highlights include “Between the Temples” (Sundance 2024), multiple award-winning “Mack Wrestles” for ESPN 30 for 30 (SXSW 2019), Gotham Award nominee “The Surrogate,” (SXSW 2020), and several episodes of Vox Media’s docuseries hit for Netflix “Explained.”

Under the Couple 3 banner, she produced Independent Spirit Award nominee “Lapsis” (SXSW 2020), the Sandbox Films documentary “In Silico” (DOC NYC 2020), and many short science documentaries for Quanta Magazine. Taylor has worked at Jigsaw Productions, Vox, Part 2 Pictures, The Gotham by IFP, and Scott Rudin Productions. She is a contributing editor for Filmmaker Magazine and graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Noah Hutton

Noah Hutton

Noah Hutton is a writer, director, and editor of documentary and narrative films. He has worked on award-winning ad campaigns for brands and nonprofits in addition to independent work on festival-bound features.

Noah was nominated for a 2021 Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay for Lapsis, a sci-fi feature he wrote, directed, scored, and edited, which premiered in the narrative feature competition at SXSW 2020 and was released by Film Movement in 2021. In 2020 he completed In Silico, a ten-year documentary begun in 2009 and supported by Sandbox Films and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation about a ten-year project to simulate the human brain on supercomputers. Previously he directed the documentary features Deep Time (SXSW 2015) and Crude Independence (SXSW 2009).
